Research Topics
Research Topic is an innovative academic concept focusing on the hottest areas in academia, here gathered a variety of current research active areas and issues. You can browse the topics you are interested in and offer new topics for others.
Science Publishing Group Research Topic showcases your research area and contributes to the communication of academic information. If you have a new topic, please download the form and send it to us.
Research Topic #1
Environmental effects of biodiesel
An often mentioned incentive for using biodiesel is its capacity to lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to those of fossil fuels. Whether this is true or not depends on many factors. Especially the effects from land use change have potential to cause even more emissions than what would be caused by using fossil fuels alone. When considering the emissions from fossil fuel and biofuel use, research typically focuses on major pollutants such as hydrocarbons.
Research Topic #2
Climate change
Climate change is a change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns when that change lasts for an extended period of time, Climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions, it is caused by factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have been identified as primary causes of ongoing climate change, often referred to as global warming.
Research Topic #3
Environmental health
Environmental health is the branch of public health that is concerned with all aspects of the natural and built environment that may affect human health. Health is the science, practice, and study of a human's well-being and their health and preventing illnesses and human injuries. Environmental health is focused on the natural and built environments for the benefit of human health, Research in the environmental health field tries to limit the harmful exposures through natural things such as soil, water, air food, etc.
Research Topic #4
Environmental degradation
Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems; habitat destruction, the extinction of wildlife; and pollution. It is defined as any change or disturbance to the environment perceived to be deleterious or undesirable.
Research Topic #5
Sustainable development
Sustainable development is the organizing principle for meeting human development goals while at the same time sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services upon which the economy and society depends. The desirable end result is a state of society where living conditions and resource use continue to meet human needs without undermining the integrity and stability of the natural systems.
Research Topic #6
Natural resource management
Natural resource management refers to the management of natural resources such as land, water, soil, plants and animals, with a particular focus on how management affects the quality of life for both present and future generations (stewardship). Natural resource management deals with managing the way in which people and natural landscapes interact.
